partnerships

Influencer marketing
chosen on fit, not followers

Creator partnerships in your category, picked because their audience is your customer, and measured against bookings rather than likes.

Influencer marketing in this region is mostly a barter economy: a free meal or a free stay in exchange for a story that reaches a large audience of people who will never visit the Algarve. It feels like marketing and it usually costs more than it returns.

The version that works is narrower and much less glamorous. Smaller creators, deep in a specific category, with an audience that genuinely overlaps with your customer. A golf creator with fifteen thousand engaged followers is worth more to a course than a travel influencer with three hundred thousand.

We run creator partnerships for consumer brands where the spend has to justify itself against a P&L. The same discipline applies here: pick on audience fit, agree what good looks like up front, and measure it.

what you get

What is included

01

Category creator research

Finding the people whose audience actually overlaps with your customer, which is rarely the biggest account in the region.

02

Audience verification

Checking that the following is real, engaged and in the right countries before anybody signs anything.

03

Outreach and negotiation

Approaching, briefing and agreeing terms, including usage rights so you can run the content as paid media afterwards.

04

Briefing that leaves room

A brief tight enough to protect the brand and loose enough that the content does not feel like an advert, which is the whole point.

05

Whitelisting and paid amplification

The highest-return part and the most commonly missed. Good creator content run as paid advertising usually outperforms brand-made ads.

06

Measurement

Tracked links, codes and attribution so you know what came back, rather than judging it on how the post felt.

how it works

How we run it

01

Define the customer

Who we are trying to reach, and therefore which audiences are worth borrowing.

02

Shortlist and verify

A small list of genuinely well-matched creators, checked properly, with terms agreed in writing.

03

Run, measure, amplify

Deliver the partnership, measure it honestly, and put paid budget behind whatever performed.

common questions

Questions we get asked

Does influencer marketing work for small local businesses?

It can, but only with the right creators. A local food creator with a genuinely local audience will do more for a restaurant than a large travel account whose followers are scattered worldwide.

Should we pay creators or offer a free stay or meal?

Both work, but paid arrangements let you agree deliverables, timings and usage rights, which is what makes the content reusable. Free-only arrangements tend to produce whatever the creator felt like posting.

How do we know if it actually worked?

Tracked links, discount codes and asking customers how they found you. If nobody can tell you what a campaign returned, it was not measured properly.

What is whitelisting?

Running the creator's content as an advert from their handle, with permission. It usually performs better than brand-made ads because it does not look like one, and it is the most under-used tactic in this market.

How many creators do we need?

Fewer than you think. Three well-matched partnerships run properly beat twenty free meals every time.
