For hotels, resorts, villas and holiday lets that want a fuller shoulder season and more bookings that arrive without a commission attached.
Hospitality here has two problems and they are related. The season is short, and a painful share of the bookings that do arrive come through platforms taking fifteen to twenty percent off the top.
Both are marketing problems. A direct booking is the same guest at a much better margin, and the only reason they booked elsewhere is that the platform was easier to find and easier to trust than you were.
The shoulder season is the other half. Guests who travel in March and October are a different audience with different reasons, and they are reachable if you start talking to them early enough.
what you get
Making booking with you the obvious choice: better rate, better terms, and a booking journey that is genuinely easier than the platform's.
Aimed at the months that need filling, run inside the window when those guests are actually deciding.
Rooms, food, views and the things guests actually photograph, presented so somebody can imagine being there.
Systematically built, properly answered. In hospitality the review score is the price you can charge.
A returning guest costs almost nothing to reach and books direct. Most properties here never contact them again.
Making sure that where you cannot avoid the platforms, you are at least presented properly on them.
how it works
Where the gaps are, what each channel costs you, and how much of it could realistically become direct.
Offer, booking journey and campaigns designed to move share away from commission.
Measured on occupancy, direct share and revenue per available room, not on clicks.
who this is for
common questions
By making direct genuinely better and genuinely easier. A rate advantage, flexible terms and a booking journey that takes fewer taps than the platform's. Then marketing that so the guest knows before they search.
Almost never. They are excellent at reaching people who have never heard of you. The aim is to shift the share of repeat and brand-aware guests to direct, not to abandon the shop window.
Partly. Winter guests are a different market: longer stays, remote workers, golf, walking, and older travellers avoiding peak. It will not look like August, but for many properties it can be considerably better than empty.
It varies hugely, from months for a summer villa to days for a winter city break. We plan campaign timing around your actual booking curve rather than a general rule.
Both. A single well-run villa often has more to gain proportionally, because so little marketing has usually been done.
